DRUMMING WITH CINCINNATI CALEDONIAN PIPES & DRUMS
Welcome to Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes and Drums. We are one of the oldest pipe bands in the U.S. and continue to promote and preserve the Scottish Celtic cultural arts through free group lessons in piping and drumming. To get started drumming with us, just read through the following information, and email me with any questions or comments. Thanks and good luck. Regards, Jeff Craig
Pipe Band Sticks These are available for purchase at our practice. See one of the current snare drummers for details on getting a good pair of matched sticks. Tenor and Bass players will be given details about the current type of sticks being used. Drum Pad We recommend different pads based on your current playing abilities.. Music We provide exercises and scores known as Massed Band Beatings. Click below to download the music and sound file for the 4/4, 2/4, 3/4 & 6/8 scores.
